Flu is an acute respiratory illness caused by infleunza viruses A or B.

Difference Between Cold And Flu

The difference between cold and flu is given below,

* The difference between cold and flu is that flu is worse than cold and it symptoms are more intense.

* In flu fever is usual and in cold it is rare.

* Sneezing is uncommon in flu and common in cold.

* Stuffy nose is common in cold while it is sometime in flu.

* Cough is common in flu not in cold.

Treatment

Flu is short-term and relieve by itself as the body immune system fights it off lasting five to seven days.Yearly vaccination recommended for those who are at high risk.

* Anti-viral drugs such as neuraminidase inhibitors,oseltamivir is also used.

* Frequent hand washing reduces the risk of viral spread,surgical mask are also used
